From beginner to advanced techniques, you will be able to express yourself on your instrument more freely. Our courses will allow you to pick from a variety of styles. We can generally train students as young as 8 years old on bass.
Learning how to navigate in a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), the importance of MIDI, recording a live instrument into the DAW, recording a Microphone into the DAW, remixing a song using the DAW, sampling in the DAW, creating samples to use within the DAW, creating samples for live use, such as performances, live shows, live studio recording, learning to record to a metronome or click in the DAW, learning the art of beat creation and arranging, creating tracks for a band or singer to play along to with the use of a metronome, cues, and counts.
In this course you learn and master basic cords Master basic 3 or 4 song chords. Introduction to basic strumming patterns.
Understanding timing and rhythms.
Introduction to tablature and explaining the concept.
Master basic tablature song and scale patterns.
Understanding the fretboard.
The training will be tailored to the individual vocal needs of each student. Subscriptions are on a monthly basis, until cancelled by the student.
Solo students have access to the online student portal, where they can download vocal exercises and other resources.
Learners who are studying music for Matric or are advanced students will have specialized training relevant to their level. Each student is an individual with distinct musical needs and preferences and and we recognise student’s individuality in all aspects of teaching. All Guitar Classes are private (one-on-one) and personalised within the syllabus of the chosen style to suit each individual student.
Basic knowledge of music terminology and music theory is part of the course of study for the instrument. However, some students choose to study music theory separately for their own development or to earn a qualification. The school offers accreditation with the the internationally-recognised ABRSM through externalised exams.
You will learn musical theory and musical language, and be able to create and play the music you desire. Students will improve their keyboard skills and learn valuable music theory. This will allow them to create and collaborate with musicians.
