Student Housing has terrible service! Students are losing their residences! Poor insulation, water issues like cold running water. This water also collects dirt from the pipes. Fire alarm malfunctioning! Wi-fi down and out! I won't even get started about the thousands of rands students spent on res food. Res food that is too small, res foods that are not properly prepared and res food with excessive portion sizes. If I were a lawyer, I would sue this "prestigious" university for every penny that I spent on student housing.

UCT is the top university in the southern hemisphere. It has the most resources and offers a positive environment. The staff are always available to assist.

Its reputation speaks for itself. Based on my experience, it is an amazing campus with great lecturers. Parking can be a problem as there are very few spaces for students and staff. While online registration is acceptable, there are a few problems that get ignored each year. These problems are not being addressed.

Great University. A diverse student body and a competent faculty. They have grown to be more aware of the issues that affect society and their students over the years. Better management is required for some faculties

It is a magnificent place.. It's a magnificent view of the city from Sarah Baartman Hall. I enjoyed exploring the University with my son, who is studying Engineering in Mechatronics.

Although the UCT steps are longer than they appear in person, the views from the top of the mountain are breathtaking! Many buildings looked terrible from the inside. They are in dire need of updating and look tired.
